At Military Hazards our mission is to answer two questions for veterans and their families: 1) what toxic substances veterans were likely exposed to based on their job and locations served; and 2) what can veterans do about their toxic exposure.
Military Hazards is a website for veterans and their families to find information about toxic exposure during their military service. Our site began when we started looking for real information about the toxic water at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and Red Hill, Hawaii. We didn’t like what we found.
There wasn’t a centralized place for veterans to get good information about toxic exposure and what to do if they were exposed. So we created it. The site was launched on June 15, 2023, to be the best place for information for veterans and their families about toxic exposure in the military.
