About Robert King and Military Hazards

Robert King has spent his career helping everyday people go up against entities bigger than themselves. Mr. King has represented more than a thousand clients in cases involving water contamination. He currently represents clients in the federal Camp Lejeune litigation (where he was a bellwether trial attorney) and the AFFF mass litigation. He has seen firsthand how contaminated drinking water has harmed troops and their families.

AFFF fire-fighting foams contaminated the drinking water at military bases around the country and abroad with chemicals known as PFAS. Now, the manufacturers of those products are facing a mass litigation called MDL -2873 IN RE: Aqueous Film-Forming Foams Products Liability Litigation. Mr. King and his legal partners have worked with more than a thousand people looking to join this litigation. Each of these people has a disease that evidence suggests was caused by drinking water with PFAS contamination. Mr. King and his team work tirelessly to move these cases through the legal process, advocating for compensation for each of his clients.

About Robert King

Robert King was born and raised in rural Upstate New York. He attended college at two New York colleges, earning his undergraduate degree from St. John Fisher and his law degree from Syracuse University. During college, Mr. King worked with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation as a legal assistant. After college, he went to work for the Monroe County District Attorney’s office, eventually being appointed as an assistant district attorney and then working with the special victims unit.

Mr. King eventually went on to work for a personal injury firm, before starting his own firm in 2013. He founded the Robert King Law Firm (King Law) on the idea that everyday people deserve knowledgeable and dedicated legal representation. King Law has become a nationally recognized mass tort law firm, representing clients across the country in civil lawsuits involving product liability.

Mr. King has seen how PFAS water contamination has hurt the well-being and livelihoods of so many of his clients. He has been tirelessly fighting for those who drank PFAS-contaminated water at military bases and then developed cancer and other serious conditions.

As the AFFF MDL continues to progress through the courts, Mr. King and his team make sure each of his clients’ cases remains on track and compliant as they pursue a settlement from firefighting-foam manufacturers.
